Common questions
Why can't I see my dukuduku in the feed yet?
Every post is reviewed before it appears for everyone. You can still find and play your own posts under Zangu on the Sikiliza tab while they wait.
Does anyone see my name?
Not when you post anonymously. Other users see no name, photo or profile on it. Remember that anything you say in the recording itself is heard by everyone who listens.
How long can a recording be?
Up to 10 minutes for a dukuduku. Voice replies in comments have a free first minute; longer replies use tokens.
I paid but didn't get my tokens.
Mobile-money payments can take a few minutes to confirm. If your tokens haven't arrived after 15 minutes, email hello@dukuduku.co.tz with the payment reference or the phone number you paid from and the time. We check it with the payment provider and fix it.
How do I report something?
Open the post or comment, tap the menu (⋯) and choose Report. For anything involving a child, you can also email our child-safety contact.
How do I delete a post?
Open your post, tap the menu (⋯) and choose delete. It leaves the app straight away.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Mimi → settings (⚙️) → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Or follow the steps on Delete your account.
The app won't open or keeps crashing.
Update Dukuduku from Google Play first. If it still happens, email hello@dukuduku.co.tz with your phone model and what you were doing. Crash reports reach us automatically too.
